RBI Email Scam

http://bit.ly/q51xpB New Delhi (mlmnewsblog) - 15 days back I received an email from RBI to reveal my one-time password (OTP) of my bank account. If you have received similar email from your bank or Reserve Bank of India, please do not end up disclosing you OTP. Scamster have found a new way to fraud people. Reserve Bank of India never ask for any such details to verify your bank account. This time Scamster are doing it on the name of  "RBI Email verification".

Mostly the subject line is "Reserve Bank of India: OTP Registration For All Indian Bank Users". If you have received any such email, just mark it as spam and then delete it from your spam folder. One-time password (OTP) of your bank account was created to safeguard your bank account from scamster. When you do your online purchase, OTP is sent to your mobile number or on email id if you are NRI. Even in-case your bank account details are hacked, still the scamster cannot proceed with the transaction because the OTP will be sent on your registered mobile number, which is to be filled in the transaction to verify your purchase. This is basically a two tier system to protect your bank account. Do share it with your friends. @box @dropbox @dropshots @expono @flickr @fotki @foursquare @gdocs @identi @imageshack @kewego @moby @photobucket @pingfm @plerb @plurk @shutterfly @snapfish @sonico @tumblr @twitpic @blog @meme @yfrog email scam RBI Email Scam
